Officially checking out; withdrew earlier this week.

However, as a UT UG I'm still in Austin for 6 or so more weeks, so if anyone needs a place to stay during ASW or a visit or something PM me. I have an extra bedroom and am about 15 minutes from the school by bus / 10 by car. Good luck all- Austin is fantastic.

Yeah I figured if you got it today, I should have. What ever will I drink from?

Following up on the Revue dishonorable mention: apparently our future brethren iced ATL via a delivery service. Well played. http://abovethelaw.com/2014/04/law-revu ... -mentions/

My emotions about Texas are all weirded out. I'm so ready to be done and GTF out of the UG here, but super excited for LS starting.

Did you try Verts yet? If not, it will make the rest of your UG more tolerable.

I'm seriously considering fedexing a kebap up here; sadly, I am poor.

Still haven't tried it, but I have a friend working for them who posts all over facebook about new store openings and when/where to get free verts, so I'll put you on speed dial for every time you can get some for free

Grant, not scholarship? I wish I knew what qualifications they used for giving out grants, I got my FAFSA in early and I'm poor as hell dammit.

Did they send you an email about it, or did it just pop up in your CASH page? I had 0 EFC, so figured I'd fall into a bump category if they love me enough.

I was told by admissions that out of staters will almost never qualify for a grant.

One of them is a grant only for residents. If you got in state tuition, that is technically a "grant" :P

But we're the ones choosing to be in Texas instead of our home state.

As long as they don't give away all their funds before I submit my matching request in the next few days, I'll be happy to agree with you.

To be fair, there are only 2 states max that can compete with Texas?
