The funniest part was that his criticism was that I had never been to a law school class or OCI or experienced the southern job market, so I was just mimicking TLS advice




....from people who had been through just that. Recently.

I'm just me and I'm kinda open and sometimes naive and don't try hard to be funny, etc. I ask newbie questions and don't fight back. It's not because I'm a doormat but because I just don't see the point. These are Internet people most of us will never meet. As lawyers or future lawyers, they just wanna argue. It's all good.

When I started lurking and posting in the lounge more, I got a little defensive over anti-STL stuff and other general hazing-esque stuff from the regulars. But one of them explained to me it's really just a general policy to shit on every city, school, poster at some time or another. No need to take it seriously. So since then, i haven't.

Like you, if I have a newbie question, I don;t mind some razzing now. And if I see a lounge topic I wanna join in on, I will, but again, nbd if some people give me shit over it as the new guy who doesnt always get the jokes.
