who wants to be a HERO and post roughly how large the lockers are in vanderbilt hall when they get there for orientation?
i'm trying to decide how much shit to lug to campus today

Thanks! I just got mine. Somewhere it raid to bring our laptops for the IT session today

your assignment will be in your nyu e-mail

There were a barrage of emails on the coase listserv after they announced lockers. Many people offering to trade, etc. Anyone know where the "good" lockers are/aren't?

My tour guide said that locker size is pretty random. It depends on where your bank is. I got mine via email and I'm assuming if you weren't assigned one today, you will have to enter the lottery. Commuter students get them automatically.

You need nothing for today but bring your photo ID if you haven't picked up your NYU ID. I would actually go to the NYU ID office first. It only took me 20 minutes to get my ID.

People were mostly wearing really casual clothes at registration (I was definitely the most dressed up and I was not trying that hard). I saw a few dress shirts and some t-shirts on guys...it was very relaxed.

So, this might sound crazy, but I chose NYU without ever checking out the facilities or anything for that matter. I am here because of familial circumstances. As I walked around campus, I realized how awesome this school will be. The tour guides were relaxed. They both had jobs (going into their 3L year). The 2Ls that I met were relieved to be done with 1L but not stressed about employment. Everyone was congenial.

The other 1Ls in my tour group were not overtly gunners.

This is a good place.

Public service announcement: my locker in the basement of Furman is a little bigger than a 1ft cube. Fits a full backpack snugly.

my locker in vanderbilt hall is pretty small
the one I reserved at bobst is a bit larger i think, so that's where i'll probably keep most of my stuff

I really enjoyed it. Being given two and half hours to work through the text reminded me a lot of some of the work in English courses that I've done. I'll readily admit that I read that case a few times in order to understand it fully.
