On the netflix binge theme, what are some suggestions. So far this year I've conquered Game of Thrones in about 4 weeks. I have HBO go (and every show ever is on demand) plus netflix. So what should I watch? These are ones that i sadly have never watched.
The Wire
Breaking Bad
Sopranos
Dexter

Im leaning towards the Wire, many even say it's a pre req for law school

All of the above but I think the Wire is the best show I've ever watched, with Breaking Bad coming somewhat close.

For Netflix shows, of course House of Cards & Lilyhammer (Soprano-esque, although more humor)

Yeah: Breaking Bad & House of Cards.

Nah: Dexter (shitty writing, shitty acting, but kind of interesting I guess)

From what I've heard: The Wire, I think I'll start this weekend or next.

I think I'm gonna go with the wire. I binged watched Game of Thrones from start to finish and finished it in a month. Beyond impressed. I've never been so hooked on a show, though I'm pretty upset I enjoyed the shows so much that it prevented me from stop watching to read the novels.

My favorite show is ~*Teen Wolf*~ and you don't even need Netflix/HBOGo to watch it.

Feel free to give me shit for it but I love it

I absolutely LOVE The Wire!!! Watch every episode to truly understand why it's so great and how all of the pieces affect each other, especially the media and politics (even though that's more prevalent in the later seasons).

I've never seen House of Cards, but I hear that's it's an excellent show and also political.

yes yes yes new season starts soon! :D

I'm binging House of Cards right now AND the new season of Orange is the New Black just went up so my getting-stuff-done plans have pretty much fallen by the wayside.

It's not on any streaming service yet (except probably FX Now, if you have access through your provider), but everyone needs to watch Fargo.

Definitely recommend The Wire. I started it a couple of weeks ago and have absolutely loved it. Almost to season 4 already.

I sprinkled in some Silicon Valley during my Wire binge. It took a couple of episodes but I ended up really liking it. Definitely worth a watch if you have time.

I second Fargo. It's a different type of mature tv drama that takes a pessimistic view of human nature than all the other mature tv dramas that take a pessimistic view of human nature out there.

I still need to get back into Game of Thrones... I gave up during season two since I didn't have time, but my goal for summer is to start catching up.

Yes. I actually like Josh Hartnett for once. He's underrated.

And I recommend Bates Motel and Shameless. Probably my two fave shows right now.

Mad Men is an exceptional show that is regarded as one of the best. Also, Friday Night lights was a phenomenal show especially if you're a sports person/texan.

I was avoiding the show since it's one of my favorite movies. Does the show follow a similar plot line?
