Sidebar: Did anyone else think that the photos of people in the Penn admit package looked super gunner? Might be that I'm super judgmental.

Side-Sidebar: Idea for a tv-show. "Judge-Mental" Two parties must plead their domestic dispute/petty crime issues to a judge. The twist? It takes place in a mental asylum and the judge is one of the patients (preferably at Arkham).

Don't know if this was already answered, but for financial aid, to get an initial offer, do you need to submit your tax documents already? Or can you get financial aid information just based off FAFSA and need access? The tax documents return just finalize everything?

How Penn puts it in the acceptance packet and on Need Access, you need to submit your and your parents Tax returns, regardless of dependency status (i think unless your older than 30), actually be accepted to Penn, complete FAFSA, and complete NeedAcess in order to be eligible for a finaid offer

If you didn't get invited to write an essay for a named scholarship and likely won't be eligible for need-based aid, are you essentially out of luck? Or is there merit aid otherwise?

FAFSA- check!
Need access - check!
Tax return documents- ..... Not yet

Lol the acceptance packet said the tax return documents are due April 15, though?
There's my confusion. Can we still get notified of our offer before we submit the official tax docs? Or do we have to submit everything before getting notice?

I sent in both Need Access and FAFSA after the invitation. Definitely haven't sent in tax docs yet.
