Nothing has come out from my email box yet. Are they still sending out scholarship? Historically the email wave will last for how long?

I called. The guy told me that only a small percentage of scholarships have been emailed out, so if you haven't received anything, you shouldn't assume that you're not getting anything. The vast majority are still on the way.

Thanks for that. Kind of annoying they said they would get back to us around March 1st and waited, but good to know we're still being considered.

Good work. Always helps to call. I suppose he didn't give you indication on a timeframe for the rest of us though?

Finally got a scholly email after being admitted mid-January. What's the best way to respond to this email (specific numbers vs not, etc)? What have others ITT been doing in reply?

+1

eta: mostly just wondering if an email attachment is necessary (e.g., word doc) or if just sending a straight up e-mail will suffice. probably over-thinking it..

I did an attachment and specified how much I wanted. I didn't receive the entire amount (turns out I asked for more than they actually granted this time around), but I did pretty well. Also, I answered the optional question, but I was saying I wanted PI, so that worked pretty well with the high number I requested.

Yeah, also curious. At first I was thinking why wouldn't I? But then I was wondering if discussing big law aspirations would impact your amount negatively. Perhaps this concern is irrational.

Did anyone mention specific offers from other schools in their e-mail response? For example, "I am considering a full tuition offer from X"?

Anyone get an email from Gulc pretty much asking how much money from them you'd need to commit to Gulc?
If so, how will you respond?

I spoke with someone in Admissions on Thursday for an Admit Day, and they said the scholarship committee won't be reviewing candidates again until the beginning of April.

What did the history tell: do they send out Scholly only via email?

So, I am assuming, since they have sent out another round of Scholly invitation, we who were invited on Jan/Feb have dim hope if we have not received any email? (It is like we have already been reviewed and decided not to be given any Scholly)

Looks like I'm an alternate. Sigh. This is extremely disappointing, considering how much I like Georgetown.

What are peoples' thoughts on sending some kind of follow up to this? I didn't mention other offers in my initial email, but I do have offers from two higher-ranked schools. They said they would follow up in April, after the deadline for the initial offers has passed, but that is a long wait considering deadlines for other schools.

Yeah, I got it as well. Now I wonder how small that "small group" really is.

April 4 is just going to be really tough. : /

Alternate here too. Based on what I'm looking to do, Georgetown makes a lot of sense if it comes at the right price. I have a gpa 25-50 and above 75 LSAT there. I also have offers of 60 and 45 from GW and Mich respectively. Does anyone think I could at least get them to match GW? I have no idea how much Georgetown negotiates, so any thoughts are helpful.

No they won't match GW but yes they will most likely match Michigan considering UM is a full-tier above GULC.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
