I don't see what the big deal with the new poll is. Everyone on here made educated decisions for their future. It's not like we're outing those who took on X amount of debt...

I'm just surprised at how many people are sub 50k since that's not even enough for CoL at most schools.cricketlove00 wrote:A big punch in the face to those who will have no debt.

Bunch of Ruby/Dillard/Mordecai recipieints, maybe? With the $15K/year stipend, Ruby people could easily come out under that, and CoL in Durham and Charlottesville is cheap enough that you could come in under $50K with a SA (or even without).SteelPenguin wrote:I'm just surprised at how many people are sub 50k since that's not even enough for CoL at most schools.cricketlove00 wrote:A big punch in the face to those who will have no debt.

You are leaving out those of us who are going part-time and will be keeping their jobs to pay the bills while working on their degree.lawschool22 wrote:Also wealthy parentals.koalacity wrote:Bunch of Ruby/Dillard/Mordecai recipieints, maybe? I would just like to take this moment to point out that not only is Harvard dominating the overall TLS c/o 2017, but we're also dominating the officer positions (President, Chief of Staff, and Chief of Funnery).

For those who are heading to Cambridge...koalacity wrote:I would just like to take this moment to point out that not only is Harvard dominating the overall TLS c/o 2017, but we're also dominating the officer positions (President, Chief of Staff, and Chief of Funnery).
If Harvard opted to start a part-time JD program, which held classes a night on the HLS campus, the majority of the professors were from HLS, and the program would take 4 years to complete vice the normal 3. Would any of you opt for this program? Would your opinion change if the total tuition cost were cut by half?

I would just like to take this moment to point out that there's currently a chlamydia epidemic among koalas. Unrelated, but your username/avatar reminded me.koalacity wrote:I would just like to take this moment to point out that not only is Harvard dominating the overall TLS c/o 2017, but we're also dominating the officer positions (President, Chief of Staff, and Chief of Funnery).

Hahah, I thought you were referring to your GI stuff. Excuse my misinterpretation of the joke.
Since I'm not working right now, my TLS game is so off. It's also pretty sad that I was getting paid to TLS.
