Here's the link to the page to opt into/waive out of the NYU's health insurance. (To get there from the link in the Bursars email click on Student Health Insurance, then Washington Square Students, and then on the brown box enrollment/waiver box)

It doesn't take long to fill out. You just need your NYU id number, and your alternate insurance card.

I thought that I saw that too, but now I can't find it. The Rocket Docket email said to apply for loans by August 9th. Tuition must actually be due after that.

They clearly expect us to be able to pay tuition in full in one full payment then

Law students have (unofficially) until the first day of classes to make sure their fall 2014 bill is paid in full.

This is at the end of the latest docket email.

My loans/aid are included in the estimated aid section of the ebill which gives me a negative balance due. I assume this takes care of it?

Yeah it's definitely not the most intuitive way to show how much you owe, but it does seem like they've taken my loan request into account.

I was thinking lower tuition but would definitely settle for this. *Really hoping some adcom brings a Jennifer Lawrence cutout to orientation now.

Just curious, but does anyone know what usually happens to the bottom of the class for NYU? Obviously I'm not shooting for the bottom of the class but when everyone is pretty much on the same level academically I'm not naive enough to think it isn't possible. Also is there a significant amount of people shooting for big law that strike out and what seems to be their options after that? Obviously I should have asked these questions a bit earlier but I'm going regardless.
