Now that sounds pretty cool. Even as a non soccer fan, I do like this. And also how they drop worst teams and promote best teams among upper and lower leagues sometimes, or so I've heard.

But I can't help but add: soccer might just be the biggest ad populum around. Fans love to point out that it is the most popular sport or is most watched. But soccer is popular for mostly socio-economic reasons (dirt cheap to play) and because of the relative simplicity of playing in a large group, not because of true sporting enlightenment. There are better sports out there for sure.
