Exactly. That's why I'm leaving.

+1

To be honest, from the moment I started studying for the LSAT I was pretty absent at wordk - I suppose there was a brief moment of 'oh shit I might need this job this fall' between when I sent applications and heard back, during which I was more mentally checked in.

I'm going to be telling my boss and work friends on Friday about leaving. I'm looking forward to it and not looking forward to it all at the same time. There were times I hated my job, but I always was fortunate to have great co-workers.

Super jelly you get to be like "So...I'm going to Harvard. Peace the F out, guys."
I'm waiting on these WL's to plan my departure. I will need to approach it differently based on where I am going. I know my A-hole of a boss (really my boss' boss) will try to sit me down and change my mind and talk about loans and financials and shit and I don't really want to go there with him...(But dropping a hard "H" pretty much negates that conversation.)

It is interesting to see peoples reaction to a H bomb.

No I've been waiting. I wanted to work as long as possible but still give them a reasonable amount of time for transition. Mainly coincidence.

Lol I'm hoping to make it not quite that direct. Actually I'm writing out thank you notes to each of my main co-workers on my team at the moment. I'm telling you guys, I really do like them. It'll be tough to say good bye.

At first, "Oh wow, that's great!"

Two weeks later, "Where are you going to school again? And what are you going to study?"

I am officially on the 2018 band wagon. But I still feel like a 2017-er.

So what do I get with my new gold icon? Can I refer to others as second-class citizens?
