Hey everyone! I just checked my status checker and saw a scholarship decision was mailed today. They received my forms on 2/15, so it looks like a roughly two week turnaround. Here's hoping for some money! I feel like I'll be getting something, unless they send a letter just to say "sorry, buddy, no cash for you."

They got my forms on 2/18, but nothing mailed out yet.

They received mine on 1/27 but haven't mailed my decision yet... Eep!

lol, they got my forms 01/07 and the updated version of Need Access a month later; so much for "sending out in the order received." (my status checker is stagnant)

But maybe your status checker will update before the end of the day and then they're still true to their word...?

Personally, I'm 2/18 and no change yet.

Would you mind sharing when you submitted your scholarship form?

Personally, even though I KNOW that they're snail-mailing the scholarships, every time I get the Duke Law Weekly or some other random email from Duke, my heart jumps and that "money money money money....MONEY!" song starts playing in my head. And then reality sets in.

Personally, even though I KNOW that they're snail-mailing the scholarships, every time I get the Duke Law Weekly or some other random email from Duke, my heart jumps and that "money money money money....MONEY!" song starts playing in my head. And then reality sets in.

It switches from "money money money money....MONEY!" to "Aha-ahaaaa...all the things I could do, if I had a little money...it's a rich man's world!"

My status checker says that my scholarship form was received on 12/09. I forgot that I sent it in so early. Good luck everyone!

I thought Dean Hoye's email said they'd be processed in the order in which the forms were received? Or maybe that's just a general rule to which exceptions apply?

Maybe it depends on whether you asked to be considered for merit-based aid solely or both merit and need? I'm not too sure. I hope you all get some good news soon.

Maybe it depends on whether you asked to be considered for merit-based aid solely or both merit and need? I'm not too sure. I hope you all get some good news soon.

FWIW, I asked to be considered for both merit and need-based assistance.

Form received 2/7 and no mailings yet. I also opted to apply for merit based aid only. I was hoping that would speed up the process but I guess not.

Same boat homie. I was admitted 10/10. Submitted my scholly form, merit only, on 1/13 and haven't heard anything.

How many people ITT are definitely coming to Duke or seriously considering it?

I am. It still definitely depends on money, but all else being equal, Duke is extremely likely (first choice, even?) right now. On that note, I was finally able to get off work for the ASW, so I'm excited to see the campus/city in person.
