Got the email today as well. Looks like they send out offers in the order in which they received the 1-page scholarship form. So we ought to post offers along with the date Duke received the 1-pager (noted on status checker) when the offers start rolling in so we can all watch them chronologically.

Also curious on this. Pretty sure I sent to the 002920. I know FAFSA processed it, but I never anything back from Duke. Could you let us know what they say in response to your email?

Same, and the second date is exactly 1 month after the first. I'd like to think that means they've already looked at mine and will mail an offer imminently, but "meaningless glitch" is probably more likely.

ya'll still checking your status checkers? if last year's thread is any indication then we should be expecting them to update whenever your decision letter is sent. I submitted early january and have nothing.

The email I received confirming receipt of my scholly app confirmed that they will be updating status checkers.

I don't mean to sidetrack the discussion but is anyone looking to share a hotel for asw? There are some pretty cheap options close to campus but it couldn't hurt to see if anyone wants to cut down on that cost even more. Feel free to pm me.

I think I'll be waiting a bit longer than most because I didn't finish the FAFSA/Need Access until 2/14 to send in my form, but based on this:

I sent my forms on 2/7 so I'll be waiting a while, too. Good to see some movement, though!

Do we get to see the offers some other way without waiting for a mailed letter? From the sounds of the email, I was expecting that the status checkers would update once a financial aid decision was mailed, while the offer itself would come solely through mail. If so, I'm skeptical that someone in CA could know her award amount by mail already without anyone else even reporting a status checker update; however, I'd happily chalk it up to me misinterpreting things assuming it means we get to see an offer without waiting for snail mail

Admittedly, I'm a bit skeptical too, but given today's wave of HLS rejections and her update with that info, I would really like to believe it's legit. There isn't much information in the way of submit/complete/acceptance dates to really figure anything out, though. Chalk my wishing up to me just wanting to know where I stand, haha.

Hahah, I can certainly empathize. Here's to hoping, and even if not, I trust some results should be coming soon. Considering PT results, Duke's Office of Admissions seems to have no regard for operating on sane, predictable hours this cycle, so for all I know, "this week" could be 2 a.m. Saturday night.

Got home from work yesterday...and there's a big beautiful envelope from Duke Law. After frantically opening it thinking that it's a scholarship offer and they just forgot to update my status checker...I pull out a pamphlet and letter from Dean Levi about how awesome the faculty at Duke is.
