THANKS HARVARD
One does not simply work shoulders the first few days following a tetanus shot. I learned the hard way
After calling my undergrad's Student Health office, my pediatrician, and my home state's Dept of Health, I am very sad to say that the tetanus shot I was convinced I received in 2005 was actually received in 1998. ka;jdf;oiajf;ajwierf

I passed out the last time I had that darn thing.

Just got my second varicella shot yesterday. $140... Don't even get me started about the fever I have right now.

My insurance covers all the shots. Thank God that I didn't quit earlier.

I was fortunate in that I just barely made a lot of the dates/requirements, so I had no big issues.
I guess that makes me the plaguebearer

This was a really, really, really tough decision, but I'm officially checking out of this thread, as I'm now going to be part of the SLS c/o 2017. I'm really sad that I won't get to be classmates with all of the fabulous people ITT, but I'm hoping to make it out to Boston to visit someday.

Just curious, what are everyone's plans as far as the supplemental portion of the base loan goes? Private or government?

More options for repayment w/ government it seems to me.

Just got the action needed email from financial aid office.. lol. Most likely I'll go for GradPlus since it's a fixed interest rate, and its covered by LIPP

Are private loans not covered by LIPP? They're not eligible for federal loan forgiveness but I can't find any evidence that LIPP doesn't cover them.

Just in case anybody was planning to email their Health forms in, the Health Office indicated they are no longer accepting email entries as they don't trust the security of the system. They are, however, still accepting them by fax & U.S. mail. They also said not to worry about the deadline (assuming she meant the 3-6 days that mailing/processing it could take).

Government. Much safer repayment options.

When did they tell you this? I called them earlier this week and they said they were still accepting it. I just emailed mine last night, now I'm wondering if I have to re-mail them

I called this morning, and that's when she told me. I'm sure they would still accept yours and not just delete it. But, if you wanted to be really sure you could always call to confirm their receipt of it.

There's no way of confirming that our bills are covered until we get our bills in July, right? I applied for the max federal DirectPlus loan, but I don't know for sure what that will actually look like..

But shouldn't you receive some sort of loan approval notification first?

It's after business hours or I'd just call HLS and find out, but does anyone know what their PIN is? Is that the same thing we use as our password for our HLS email? I'm trying to see some message HLS health services sent me and can't for the life of me figure out how to get in. I know my HUID because they emailed it to us, but I can't remember this PIN or find out how to reset it online. Womp womppp.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
