Can't wait to meet you all. No idea which ASW I'll attend. Can we go to both? hahahaha
Nice post on the fb group
edit: Everyone's fbs look so professional, and mine is a complete joke. It's a good thing that I'll be making a new one before school starts.
Me too !
Yeah I almost delayed posting, and considered staggering between here and there but I'm just so excited so who cares hahahaha.
As to the picture - I'm a business student. Almost everyone in my internship programs and classes has a similar picture from some of our college events and such. It's like second nature to me now haha. My FB is basically a more personal LinkedIn at this point!

Congrats to everyone admitted this week!
Now that you guys (you know who you are) have been accepted is this thread going to be super active? Also, on the mutual friends thing, I thought that was interesting as well - I wonder whether it's like a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon thing or just that my friends have smart friends.

I can also make more if people are interested.

I still don't think the good news has really sunk in yet.
How did/will everyone celebrate?

But the holidays are coming up! If you have some time off, be sure to do something nice! DrStudMuffin's beer + friends sounds like a good idea.

just curious. did any of you admits write a "Why harvard" statement? i'm rounding out my application and was wondering if that was necessary.

I didn't write any optional essays, but my PS is very different from a typical HLS personal statement and my career goals made it blatently obvious why Harvard was a good choice for me.

I didn't either, but I did include a paragraph on Why Harvard in my PS.

I only added my diversity statement. The why harvard seemed a bit unnecessary
