WHAT IS EVERYONE DOING FOR HOUSING?

Just signed a lease for an apartment in Brooklyn. Still trying to find a roomie for the academic year, my current roomie is going to Japan. If anyone is interested in a large $750 room in Brooklyn, 35 minutes door-to-door from NYU (via D, also N and R trains), PM me!

I'm... going to just do the on-campus housing the first year. Been out of ugrad for almost a decade so I kinda need to be around other students. But definitively NOT, i say NOT, staying in a triple with one bathroom.

This is abhorrent and disgraceful. How can they spew this in good faith? It's just not true

They basically said the same during the ASD. One of the fin. aid people basically told us that on a 10-year repayment plan, you can do live pretty well by making modest repayments while doing biglaw. So they assume that you will stay in biglaw for a long while.
