Priority track isn't new for this year. So, that's probably not the reason.

Planning a trip to visit on feb 21-23 (two weekends from now). Super excited to check out campus for the first time and learn more about the school. Will also be there for the Duke-Syracuse basketball game!

Anyone have any visit advice (places to see, etc.) or actually going to be there that weekend themselves?

I have a scholarship form received for 1/06 and now 2/07. Also hoping that means they sent out decisions. However:

I sent mine in yesterday and have "Scholarship Form Received" from 2/6 and another one today. Not sure they'd make a decision that quickly.

This makes me think that everyone got the update regardless of the letter being sent out.

I got the 2/7 update, but I also have the first update on 1/15. Not sure that clears things up any. I wouldn't be surprised if those of us sitting at 3-4 weeks or more will receive a decision soon.

I think it is being updated for everyone because the update is only about a week after I sent my form in. But if anyone gets a decision soon, please let us know!

I submitted my scholarship form on 2/4, and got the 2/7 update as well.

I submitted mine 1/28 and received an email confirming it was received on 1/30. Nothing has happened since then though.

edit: I completed Fafsa/Need Access on 1/26. The dates I originally listed were for submitting the scholarship application to Duke

I submitted them last weekend. In general, even if the users on this particularly proactive site have submitted already, you should still be well ahead of the curve/priority deadline.

So from last year's applicants thread Scholarship Letters began being snail mailed this week. I'm sure you've all seen it but a few things:
-status checker updates when the letter is sent, but does not show amount
-decisions are apparently sent in batches that correspond to when your scholarship for was received (earlier submission = earlier decision)
-Judging by last years thread we are a week or two behind in the cycle, so I'm not sure that we should expect scholly info this week, although that would be fantastic.

btw I also got the 2/7 update. I submitted my form 01/05 and have a 01/07 update for when it was received, so the 2/7 has got to be universal.

I submitted my scholarship form to financialaid@law.duke.edu (no underscore), and received a confirmation of receipt from the same address the next day.
