I was there. I agree, pretty nice overall.

I missed the McKinsey event so I can't comment on the differences there. It was held on the 38th floor of Cravath in a board room with many windows providing a northern facing view of the city. Evan Chesler (Chairman of Cravath) was there mingling with students and ended up giving a short speech. Funny guy, had some interesting stories about his trial experience. Hors d'oeuvres were tasty and beer/wine was aplenty.

Def better than McKinsey. There were also some associates there, so I got to speak to some who were currently working at Cravath, mostly in litigation. Wine was good, also.

I wouldn't say I have either, but they aren't the most exiting appetizer. It's a hot dog...in some dough. Now, little breakfast sausages 'in a blanket'--that's my shit.

I didn't put too much, I don't like to overwhelm the sausage. That said, it was certainly the kind of mustard I'd expect from Cravath.

For those who got $0, did you receive the financial aid email/website/whatever saying you would be receiving no money from NYU or you just did not hear anything about money?
I still haven't heard anything about scholarship/financial aid from NYU and I was admitted early Jan. My financial aid status says "application under review". Does this mean I'm getting nothing from NYU?

They received a fin aid email that directed them to check online, where they saw their initial offer of $0. They will notify you either way, so no email yet doesn't mean no $.

Just submitted my financial aid appeal. After getting Columbia's offer the two are still neck and neck for me, so hopefully they decide to drop the stinginess...I really liked what I saw at the ASW.

Congrats to those receiving great aid from NYU, and to those withdrawing presumably as a result of getting closer to finding the One!

NYU is still in the lead for me. Let's hope dat aid $$$ keeps it there.

Appealed 50k aid with 105 from Michigan. Denied. But luckily, I am allowed to borrow to meet the expected student contribution!
