Oh good. My laptop just died in class, so all I have is my phone. Murphey's law says that I'll get the email any minute now, and won't be able to view the letter for another hour because my phone doesn't support the flash FAAPS site.

well, i have a fully charged computer, so there's no way i'm getting the e-mail any time soon, and since i'm not getting it any time soon, neither are you, so no worries!

If you threw your computer out a window, would that mean we would get the email soon? If so, I would highly consider throwing your computer out the window. For the sake of logic. And science.

Quick question: do I need to submit the fafsa to get merit $$

And how soon after acceptance does NYU typically give out $$

You have the option to apply for need-based and merit aid, or, if you feel that you're not going to get any need-based, you can opt to do just merit.

It's not by acceptance. Their line is 7-10 days after you submit all your financial aid stuff.

Granted, I'm on day like, 45 or 50 since then, so, take it with a grain of salt.
Edit: TBF, I'm only on day 29 if you start from when I got my named scholarship rejection.

Oh boy...After being in final review since 1/27, my under final review date changed to 4/2. Hoping that means that I receive an email today with some pretty numbers.

i don't think people are checking regularly enough to comment, mostly, but i know for a fact that one person ITT had this same update and then got their award that day (on that occasion it was around 3:15 PM EST)
