Re: Vanderbilt Class of 2017!
Honestly, probably yes. When I was entering grad school at the same school I did undergrad, I had to have them mail my transcripts (yes, via USPS) to themselves. It only had to go 50 yards down the street, but they said I couldn't hand-deliver it. I even had to walk the 50 yards down the street to ask the person who'd be receiving it how to address it b/c the registrar didn't know.JustHawkin wrote:Do they even have to post mark it if it's not leaving campus?sweethomealabama wrote:This seems like a worthy time for my first post!
I'm a Vandy undergrad, so hopefully campus mail will move quickly. I'll confirm that the contents of the 2/25 mailing (hopefully it's scholarship info!) as soon as I receive it.
Best of luck to all of you!

Do we think they will send the Law Scholar Merit Awards at the same time as the regular scholarships?

According to the site, "recipients are normally notified in February." So, I'm extremely hopeful.Pelletier wrote:Do we think they will send the Law Scholar Merit Awards at the same time as the regular scholarships?

tl;dr stands for "too long; didn't read" and then a brief (and sometimes humorous) summary follows.

My status checker showed two mailings, oddly. Did anyone else get two? Hopefully I'm getting two scholarships

Well great news, I had a 02/25 blank mailing in my checker and did not register for the Marsh ASW (unfortunately I have something else going on that weekend). So... maybe we were right all along.Keicar wrote:It was a confirmation for the March 14th ASPmattyice122 wrote:What email did you both get today if you don't mind me asking?Keicar wrote:I was just thinking the same thing...wsparker wrote:Please tell me that email we just got was NOT the reason for the date change

Re: Vanderbilt Class of 2017!
For what it's worth, nothing was delivered to my box on campus today. We have a "campus mail" system that is internal and bypasses USPS, but it still has to be processed by our campus post office.
I'm still hopeful that something will arrive tomorrow...but the fact that all of the blank mailings were removed from my status checker makes me feel like I may have gotten my hopes up without good reason.
