I got the same thing. I'm pretty sure all housing, including law school only, goes through the UAH system, which is why you have to log in to the UAH portal to check the status of your app.
I called to check and everything you said was correct. I got approved for law only and will hear back by early next week at the latest, so probably the same for you

Great - thanks for the info! I'm still hoping to hear later today, but early next week isn't too terrible I guess

So this may be a dumb question, but are is our rent pro-rated in Aug? Like if our move-in date is Aug 10, for example, would we have to pay for the full month of Aug? I don't know how these things work.

I guess I was wrong in my case, since I did end up getting general UAH housing. A little disappointed, although it seems like a very good deal price-wise, so I can't be too upset
Anyone know anything about the housing on W 122nd Street? (my one concern is that it seems a little far north...)

Not in Lionsgate, but a few buildings over (in 540). SO CLOSE TO ALL THE FOOD.

aw man...I'm probably going to have to get on my UG institution to do the dean's certification stuff so I don't miss what I hope is a soft, nbd deadline...pretty sure our registrar office is just a mule eating discolored cabbages and defacating on an old typewriter at this point, but I better call up to make sure.

I'm north of Sakura park on Riverside Dr, so hopefully being far north won't be that bad of a thing

I'm sure it's fine; it'll just be a little bit longer of a walk to class through the snow

Now that all of the housing has been sent out (I think?), can we change the poll again?
Also maybe revive this thread?

Summer plans? I'll be traveling for a little over a month in Asia, would be interesting to see what everyone else is planning.
Maybe options can be travel in Europe/Asia/other international/domestic, working, watching copious amounts of TV/Netflix...I dunno what else?

If anyone is still waiting on their housing assignment, try giving them a call (the law school housing liaison).
I was sitting on UAH approved for a while and when I called them they said everything was fine and on time(which I doubt).
After the call somehow I got my app approved within MINUTES by the law school and was offered housing within the day.
I think they may have "forgot" about my app or something.
Give them a call to remind them that you're still waiting.

We're we supposed to have heard anything back re: loans after we submitted the initial request? The radio silence is a bit disconcerting.

This is a bit random, but has anyone received any info about submitting documentation about vaccinations and/or info about being waived from the requirement to buy health insurance through Columbia because you're on your parents insurance?
I've heard nothing on either, but I'm under the impression that we need to submit paperwork on both of these matters.
