Nice!
Speaking of aid, I've done some basic digging around TLS, does anyone know if HLS aid is still capped at around ~30k per year?

34K, I think it goes up if you have kids though.
Gotcha, thanks!
No kids. I wonder if I can temporarily adopt 10 or 20 or so before I get my package.

Has anyone who's looking at both S and H heard about financial aid from both? Were their calculations of need and grant money about comparable? Feel free to PM me.

They wouldn't count my illegitimate children so YMMV

Based on my perusal of last year's threads it appears that they will be comparable. They even mention that if the need-aid offers are significantly different at comparable schools(HYS) they will review them once more. I know someone had to re-do theirs at SLS last year. Good luck

At ASW they said it was 43k if you are single and no dependents.

I stand corrected.
Wow, that is much higher than I was expecting. Thanks for letting us know.

That being said, I have never heard of anyone getting more than 32k that didn't have kids (though I know several people with only 1 child who have paid zero in tuition at HLS). HTH

I thought at ASW they said 43kish was the base loan, and that 34k was the max aid?

Does anybody have more info? I'd be very interested in finding out what their max and average aid awards are.

Sorry, yes you are right but with the budget change this year it was 81k budget, they said 43k in loans, 2.5k in required student contribution and then the difference (~35k) possible in aid. I got those mixed-up. Thanks for the correction.

lol looks like I erased my posts for no reason. It's roughly $34K/year max.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
