So does anyone have a small closet I can rent for the next three years?
Or, if not a closet, does anyone have an idea which streets are the most comfortable to sleep on? I am definitely not affluent enough for all this

Yes I need a roommate. I'm super cool and already live in NYC. I just need to move into manhattan...Or Bushwick/Williamsburg! But more on this after I hear back from everywhere.

You are so right, this blog is amazing. Amazingly depressing when I consider living in NYC, but amazing nonetheless.

Has anyone received the "package" they referred to in the letter?

Checking in here too! No package for me yet as well...hopefully soon. Lots of very interesting discussions about the apartment situation. It definitely sounds like the best option is to find a roommate or two, which opens up apartment possibilities. TLS, ASW, FB seem like good ways to meet a fellow student to live with. Very excited to meet you all at ASW!

Congrats all. Have any of you decided which ASW you plan to attend? According to C/O 2016, it was pretty incredible so I definitely want to go but I haven't RSVPed yet.

Planning on the April one. Maybe I'll make that the next poll.

That would be a great poll. Mainly because looking at the current poll and the available housing in NYC is going to make me cry. I have grown accustomed to paying less than $600 per month including all utilities and even thinking about Greenwich prices is daunting.

That's odd

. I was admitted the day before you and it only took a little over a week to receive mine but that was before all the recent bad weather. And I still have yet to receive the package. NYU seems to be quite slow with mailings, even as they are admitting people earlier than usual. Do you live somewhere that was particularly affected by the weather? Or a considerable distance from NYC?

I'm a considerable distance away, but I still expected to have received the letter by now.

I'm sorry

That sucks. At least you can still access the ASW

I can still get in there, but I'm curious to see the personalized note

Fair enough. I'll warn you though; it is very very purple.
Also, as soon as someone receives this mysterious "package" please post details on TLS. I am dying of curiosity!

No letter here yet either (admitted 12/11), but I'm living abroad, so that might be it?
I'm super curious about the handwritten note though.
