I just found out that, almost everybody around me irl thinks H is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than Y.

My dad: "Why would you choose Y over H? No one knows Yale!!"

Being a megapoaster is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being cool on tls. HTH.

Exactly!!! But maybe also because most of my families and friends are foreigners, and apparently H has a better reputation overseas(at least in Asia).

Exactly!!! But maybe also because most of my families and friends are foreigners, and apparently H has a better reputation overseas(at least in Asia).

H is definitely more reputable internationally.

H is definitely more reputable internationally.

An admitted student from Korea casually mentioned to me during ASW that her parents had threatened to disown her if she chose any law school but Harvard. Crazy.

Yay! Got the Harvard email today!! Immediately set the background to the custom red one in the OP. That default made me cringe...

Unrelated news: I've strangely gotten back in touch with 30 of my old friends/ex-girlfriends all in one day. I would like to thank harvard.edu technology for making this possible.

During my JS1, I may or may not have said something along the lines of "Yeah, and I'm very keen to have the opportunity to work with Noah Feldman, even though his academic interests lie outside of my own," and then we may or may not have spent a good 5 seconds like this
