For the record I think HBP has the biggest game-changer plot point with the horcruxes, making it my almost favorite.

BUT, POA was the "pound for pound" best book in the series, therefore my favorite.

Dementors/Azkaban, Lupin, time travel, editing, and of course a prominent Sirius Black (the best pound for pound character in the series)

So, winner.

(this is like choosing a favorite kid though - I thoroughly enjoyed and reread them all, even the long winded OOTP)
