I'm in the same boat. No invitation for me. Congrats to anyone who is a finalist tho!
Are they via phone or email? How do you know if you didn't get it? When I was denied RTK I got an email.
ETA: Sorry--hopefully they still throw some sweet $$ at you!!
Yeah it was by e-mail for me. I got an RTK invite though. Interesting to see two different outcomes on these, because I felt like RTK was sort of inclusive of the Furman Public Policy requirements. Furman PP is only taking 2-3 this year and 1 more after 1L-I guess they were being very selective.
Gotcha, thanks--no word either way for me yet. Although I'm assuming RTK denial is not a good sign for me, but it would be the ultimate longshot anyway!
Good luck with your Root interview!

Yeah. I was at that stage almost immediately after submitting. Then it was around 15 days later that I got the award.

I received my financial aid package yesterday, about 12 days after submitting fafsa+needaccess. after hearing so many get $0 for their initial offer, i was pleasantly surprised!

Good grief, I wish they'd let me know about financial aid. I've been in the final stage of review for a while now...

My application went from "Final stage of review" to "application in progress".
Also my pdf application disappeared and was replaced with a new application to be filled out through FAAPS.
Does this mean they rejected my submission and want me to resubmit?

+1, and I didn't have any other documentation. Literally submitted an essentially blank sheet with my contact info. Thought it would be a quicker turn around-- surprised some people are getting awards back that went final review after us?

I went under final review on 2/24 and no word. Maybe theyre collecting spare change around the office for people below the medians. That takes more time.

Checking in!
Just received my FA award and received the Dean's award. But does this offer include need-based grants? Will they make the distinction between merit and need grants?

That's so strange that you took much longer than me despite the fact that we submitted on the same day.
My application went under review and then to final review in literally the same day... I'm a little nervous that it was an easy $0.

Mine did the same thing and I'm above both 75ths. They give me $0 and I'll be

Yeah, same here, went into final review in one day. Definitely not above both 75ths though.

Just received mine as well, and while I am appreciative of the merit aid I did receive, I'm a little shocked by the gap. I was hoping at age 28 they wouldn't be considering my (divorced) parents' income so much, particularly the parent to whom I don't speak. I think NYU may be out of the cards now

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
