koala and radikal, it was via call yes. But they have my father's cell phone because I'm overseas and I change numbers every few months. They sent an e-mail to me confirming the invite around 5PM EST. There was hardly any delay between the call and the email.

You should mention your CLS acceptance. Try and negotiate that way. What other acceptances do you have? Hae you gotten any money from CLS?

I'm in the same boat. Feeling cautiously optimistic. They wouldn't wait this long just to send us a rejection email... right???

The optimistic side of me says they have a lot of calls to do, so they have to spread them out. And maybe the person making the calls was out sick most of the week. The pessimistic side of me says they're waiting until close of business Friday to do a wave of rejections so they don't have to deal with angry phone calls.

I was there for both days and at a lot (though not all) of the events, and I'm even more convinced of NYULS2017 than I was before.

All of the students (except for one guy!) were great, the administrators were wonderful, the "campus" (conglomeration of three buildings) is perfect & of course, the West Village, and everything was just amazing.

I learned more than I thought I would, and I really think I got a good feel for what it would be like there (great!).

If anybody has more specific questions, I can try to answer them.
