I had applied for RTK, got turned down yesterday. I don't know if that leaves me eligible for a Vandy, but I haven't heard anything.

IDK if it works this way, but would love anecdotal info. Would be some nice piece of mind to know that I can still get a full ride vandy if I don't cut it at one of the finalist interviews.

Applied for merit and need based. Been under review since 1/27. Thought it was due to RTK, but got turned down for that yesterday. Would like my money now please.

Anyone goin to the receptions that are being held at NYU on March 24 and/or April 8? I'm goin' to the April 8 one held by Cravath. Hopin for some good food.

Yea, I already have one, but it's not too good (it's from when I was 30 lbs heavier); however, I don't think this is so important that I will have to buy a new one. As a 0L, they will likely forget about me quickly until my grade come through. Maybe it's good to ask some alumnus/student here. I don't really have the money for a suit atm.

Oh right, you have that as well. Yea, def get a new suit. I am just worried about it since I'm still in a weight-loss mode until August, and want to get something tailored closer to the school year than get one now.

I spoke to my friend (he is graduating from NYU Law this year) and he said that it's not so important. He even said that you can wear khakis and a blazer, if you prefer. Just, he said, "don't look crappy."
