August can't come faster. I don't think I've ever been this excited for school to start although I'm sure I'll be eating my words as soon as the reading starts to pile up.

I was talking to other admits about something at ASW: how do you feel about the fact that for every person participating in these threads there are something like thirty lurkers who you've never met who have read hundreds of your posts?

these lurkers, always taking and never giving, probably don't even drink. The defining characteristic of the CLS 2017 in group is obviously going to be our shared tendency toward alcoholism. Lurkers will not be told the location of the secret clubhouse, thus missing out on all the real action.

Sallie Mae is paying for it anyway, by and large...might even wheedle some free shots from K-JDs susceptible to peer pressure and the charm of "networking" with "future colleagues in the NYC legal market". Build those bridges early! There's no such thing as a free boilermaker!
Here is what's important: we're not uptight like those prestige clowns up in Cambridge. Our 2017 roster seems free of infamous shitposters...for the time being.

I submitted my housing app on 4/23, any idea when we will start hearing about that?

I believe I read somewhere that they don't start completely reviewing them until after the May 15th deadline and then we can expect to hear back like late May/early June. Not sure where I read that so I may be mistaken.
