Wait, do you mean Harvard Law School housing or Harvard University Housing? If the latter, how did you login?The-Specs wrote:Yes, HUH. The app opened on March 1st.kershka wrote:wait, what? 5pm May 1st, it looks like. But it's non-binding so there's no harm in submitting early. It's all described on the ASW under housing

Wait, so do we have to specify who we want to live with before we submit the form? If we put that we want a two-bedroom but don't select a roommate, will they just randomly assign us?lastsamurai wrote:thanks!!!!kershka wrote:5pm May 1st, it looks like. It looks like your answer to those questions just help them to set preferences and make recommendations. It allows you to pick your apartment when they become available.cway wrote:Wait, so do we have to specify who we want to live with before we submit the form? Wait, we can apply to Harvard University housing? Which is different than HLS housing? I'm so confused... can someone briefly explain the difference/how we apply?

Does anyone plan on bringing their laptop? I don't really know how to step on a college campus without mine.. and it seems like there will be some sorts of activities where people might take notes.
Please don't judge me for this ridiculous Q.

I'm not going, but this seems like it would be annoying - you're going to be stuck lugging it around, etc. I would go with a small notebook that you can fit in a pocket in case you want to write anything down.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Does anyone plan on bringing their laptop? Of course, laptop will be going with me to my hotel, because how can anyone spend 72 hours away from their computer completely?

At first I thought you were mocking me in some way I didn't understand. And I thought my potential future classmates were dicks.Optimist Prime wrote:Well now I'm going to sidle up to anyone with a laptop and go "psst MostDangerousLG pssst".Pancakes12 wrote:I'm bringing mine but it won't be leaving my hotel room.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Does anyone plan on bringing their laptop? So I think I am going to try and meet with someone from SFS on Monday (special circumstances re finances etc.). For that I'd prefer to dress up a bit. But I also will feel WAY too gunnery wearing a suit to ASW. What to do, what to do.

Re: Harvard Class of 2017
SFS doesn't seem like an office that requires a full suit. But if you're set on looking a little dressy, you could just don a formal jacket while meeting with them and then either take it off or replace it with something more casual for the rest of the day.wtrc wrote:So I think I am going to try and meet with someone from SFS on Monday (special circumstances re finances etc.).
