I don't know if this link will work for anyone else, but hopefully it gets you in the ballpark. The answer is yes.PB&J.D. wrote:Anybody know if we get student MS Office licenses through the school?

Yes, but it took awhile. I only received confirmation within the past week or so, but I had my forms in over a month ago.retaking23 wrote:has anyone gotten confirmation of their immunization forms being received?
IIRC, it came in the form of an email advising I had a message or update on the health site.

Confused about what the deal is for parking even after reading the brief rundown on the "De Novo" site. When are we able to register for parking and what is the most convenient/affordable option? Any help would be much appreciated

It links here.Individual Permit
Law students park in the Green Zone. The permit will be billed to your bursar's account. If you plan to get an individual permit, you must apply online before August 1. In order to complete the on line registration, you will need your NetID and password, which is issued by Duke's Office of Information Technology (OIT). If you need assistance contact the OIT Help Desk at 919-684-2200. The permit will be mailed to the address you indicate on your registration form. Do not contact OIT until after your enrollment deposit has been processed.
Edit: From what's available to me, though, it still doesn't look like it's possible to buy a 2014-2015 permit yet.

Re: Duke Class of 2017
From what I found, law students actually have a page of parking information separate from the graduate students one that you linked. Check this out. Looks like 1L's can start buying on July 22.Serett wrote:From the Welcome/Admitted Student Page:johnjay wrote:Confused about what the deal is for parking even after reading the brief rundown on the "De Novo" site. Re: Duke Class of 2017
Does anyone know if there's a better way to reach the immunization office than emailing Casey Fisher at DSHS_Immunizations@mc.duke.edu? I've been emailing since last week and she hasn't gotten back in touch. I didn't see her phone number listed.
Also- This is a stupid question, but do you need an MD to sign off on the TB Screening form if you haven't been to any of those countries? I don't know what they would be signing off on anyway, but idk

Ah, thanks. I really didn't look around much after I clicked on the link, but it looks like it was another option on the sidebar. Nice to know that we might as well ignore the portal until then, I guess.gta wrote:From what I found, law students actually have a page of parking information separate from the graduate students one that you linked. Anyone else getting the "So, Duke, eh? Is that in [Wrong State]?" I've gotten Massachusetts and Indiana so far.

I actually think a lot of people know the names of universities but have little or no idea where many of them are. I guess if they think it has little or no impact on their lives, they don't really care. Ahhh well. Indiana though...umm...huh?Serett wrote:Anyone else getting the "So, Duke, eh? Anyways, is anyone here considering or planning to live ON campus?

Re: Duke Class of 2017
My best guess is that the person confused it with Notre Dame. I guess they're both private schools whose lay reputations (in the Midwest) are associated with, albeit different, sports.Hahalollawl wrote:I actually think a lot of people know the names of universities but have little or no idea where many of them are. I've logged into sakai and downloaded the pdf of the assignment. That's about it

Re: Duke Class of 2017
I ventured a little further and actually opened the PDF to look for when the assignment is due: Sunday 11:59 PM. Which basically means I can slack for a few more days

I just back from out of the country and have a backlog of Duke emails to check out. But for now, I'm going to catch up on sleep. Sunday's so far away anyways...
