Anyone plan on living in Jersey and commuting in? I've got a pet I love and can't get rid of, and a car I love only slightly less. Looking to bounce ideas off someone with similar plans.

I've heard that Jersey is not really any cheaper than many places in BK, but with worse transportation.

Its more a question of finding a place that's cat friendly and has parking. My knowledge of NYC is extremely limited, I was under the impression that wouldn't be possible?

There are plenty of cat friendly places in NYC and BK, and why would you drive? NYC traffic is terrible and unpredictable. I'd even recommend a bike over driving.

Planning on taking the PATH or other public transit to/from school. Im just keeping the car as a project/weekend cruiser. Not having a car makes me extremely antsy lol.

That's right. We shoot for around 10 scholars per year. The number of finalists was increased this year from 24-32 roughly.

My impression is that each scholarship has its own timeline. So if you applied for IILJ, AnBryce and RTK you'd get notifications in the IILJ batch and AnBryce batch separately, etc etc. I'm assuming each scholarship program is too different from the other to have the same evaluation committee deciding on interview shortlists...I'm waiting on RTK and Furman Public Policy. RTK has usually gone out early to mid March in the past. Furman PP is brand new, so who knows.

I submitted my financial aid app 2/15 and it's been UR since 2/17…hopefully I hear back soon; NYU with a substantial scholarship is definitely a top choice.

According to the poll we did early on most people are going to the earlier March one, but I could see that changing with some of the later admits coming on board. I'm doing the April one fwiw.

I'm attending the one in April because the late-March ASW doesn't overlap with one of CLS'. I'm guessing many TLSers will be going to the same one for that reason. The ASW in early-March is just too soon for me.

I do wish they were Fri/Saturday, but I understand them wanting to have at least one day be a weekday. Worse is Columbia being Wed/Thurs if you ask me

Could be, i haven't heard anything about RTK invites on here. Anyone confirm? I know I've seen Business/law, Anbryce, and IILJ (or whatever the acronym is) lolol
