Anyone have official class size projections? I don't see how we can make an informed decision without that info.

Yes the director of admissions said during Open House/ASW that they would like to get the class sizes back to between 200-240 and that closer to 240 would be preferable - but I guess we will have to wait and see.John Everyman wrote:Anyone have official class size projections? Thanks, hopefully for us it ends up being closer to 200.PrideandGlory1776 wrote:Yes the director of admissions said during Open House/ASW that they would like to get the class sizes back to between 200-240 and that closer to 240 would be preferable - but I guess we will have to wait and see.John Everyman wrote:Anyone have official class size projections? Agreed. What is usual for WUSTL? Is 200-240 more or less than recent?scottidsntknow wrote:Thanks, hopefully for us it ends up being closer to 200.PrideandGlory1776 wrote:Yes the director of admissions said during Open House/ASW that they would like to get the class sizes back to between 200-240 and that closer to 240 would be preferable - but I guess we will have to wait and see.John Everyman wrote:Anyone have official class size projections? They want to go back to 2011 levels after shrinking their class size - I hope it stays at 189 I think that will enable WashU to have Vandy-like nation-wide employment placement numbers over the course of the next several years

As someone already admitted and thinking purely selfishly, I support this positionPrideandGlory1776 wrote:2010: 276njdevils2626 wrote:Agreed. What is usual for WUSTL? Ya smaller class sizes are better. If I were going to guess based on nothing but intuition I'd say our class will have 220 in it.

Plus you have to add transfers. The most recent graduating class has 300 graduates, which is slightly larger than how much the class started with.

Quick question: When you're submitting the first deposit, you click that you will be attending. If this is a multiple deposit-type situation, that isn't binding, right? The wording doesn't seem to be, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks!

I double deposited at WUSTL and Emory and informed WUSTL of that fact. They totally understood and it seems to be common practice. Just gotta have only one deposit down come the second deadlinesamoby wrote:Quick question: When you're submitting the first deposit, you click that you will be attending. Re: Wash U Class of 2017
I emailed someone in Financial Aid and got a response that it was being sent to the scholarship committee. Did you get any confirmation? If not I would check in and make sure they received it. I sent mine over a week ago and haven't gotten a response aside from confirmation that they received my request.

Sent mine nearly 2 weeks ago and didn't even get a confirmation response. I'm planning to check on it this week if I haven't heard within a couple days.cannibal ox wrote:I emailed someone in Financial Aid and got a response that it was being sent to the scholarship committee.
