Does a SA at Susman Move the Needle for Clerkships
Susman's summer program is just 4 weeks with no return offer. Is it worth it in terms of strengthening a clerkship app? I thought the general idea was your 2L summer firm doesn't really move the needle.

In terms of 2L SA positions, it's considered a gold star.gooseeggsaremyfav wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2026 1:14 pmSusman's summer program is just 4 weeks with no return offer. It's going to be very judge dependent. For example, if your judge worked at Susman at some point, it'll be a nice boost and will probably come up during an interview. But if you landed a SA at Susman, that probably means you have strong grades, which ultimately is what matters the most to many judges.
