Hey everyone,
I'm a current district court clerk who began their clerkship after finishing one year in biglaw. I'd like to clerk on a COA immediately following my clerkship but have struck out for the 25-26 term (have been applying since 2022, lol). I'm preparing to start sending feelers for biglaw/boutique lit firms for the upcoming year but was wondering two things: Is it safe to assume that 25-26 hiring is done? And is there any downside to working between clerkships?
Thanks!

Re: Working between Clerkships
Don't see a downside to working. Look at Govt gigs too and honors programs. Try state SG offices. Or, a SAUSA, if you can afford it.
