3L here with a post-grad clerkship lined up for '21-'22. How early is too early to start looking for work?

Many firms won't start hiring for Fall 2022 until late Fall 2021/early 2022. Firms hiring clerks are going to want to see your whole law school transcript (including graduation honors) so you shouldn't start applying any earlier than summer/Fall 2021. Depending on whether COVID is still an issue at that time, hiring might resume normally, or be delayed into Spring 2022.
