Off-Plan Feeders

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Jul 22, 2020 2:03 pm

So I know a couple of the FedSoc feeders go early, but I was wondering if anyone had a more fulsome list of what feeders will go off-plan, either on a selected basis or as a rule. Particularly interested in any "lesser known" deviations, like CADC / 2 / 9 types who will "cheat".

AFAIK it’s fairly easy to tell since they are open about it (Pryor, Wilkinson, Thapar, etc.). Don’t think any of the libs are off plan

The overwhelming majority of highly selective conservative judges are off plan and all highly selective liberal judges are on plan. I know Eric Miller is an exception to the former.

Interesting...is Griffith really the only on-plan conservative bona fide feeder then? (Idk if the other DC cons like Katsas and Rao “cheat”)

Griffith is fully retired now, so you can't really even count him on that list anymore.

EDIT: Technically, he's retiring in September, but the point is he's not hiring clerks anymore.

I think Kethledge or Sutton might be on plan but I’m not positive

Can confirm Sutton is and has always been off-plan. It's a little tricky-looking because he definitely accepts apps via OSCAR; if you want to apply before the hiring date, you just have to send in a paper app.
