Data point: mid-T14 (c/o '21), LR board, above median, URM, accepted DDC/SDNY/NDCal clerkship. Had three other DCt interviews in large legal market districts as well. Complete radio silence from COAs but hoping that changes after updating my resume and profile

Any word on DDC for 2022-23? Some have posted filled on OSCAR (Mehta, Boasberg, Cooper) but besides that there is very few updates.

T14, LR, top 1/3, published note, '20 COA clerkship. Last week, received and completed CA9 interview and accepted offer shortly afterward. Judge is now full for '21.

Any word on the DDC/CADC judges that are still "available" on OSCAR? I have a hard time believing Srinivasan/Rao/Katsas aren't done hiring yet...What about Chutkan, McFadden, Kelly, Nichols on DDC?

T14, LR, top 1/3, published note, '20 COA clerkship. Last week, received and completed CA9 interview and accepted offer shortly afterward. Judge is now full for '21.

Do you know if your judge updated Oscar to indicate that they are full?

I think Bates also says he’s still available and Lamberth although I saw on this thread Lamberth has extended interviews.

Kelly and McFadden have both been interviewing. I do not think either are full yet.

I think Bates also says he’s still available and Lamberth although I saw on this thread Lamberth has extended interviews.

Bates is only avl for a very niche clerk position related to civil procedure for 2021-22; for his standard 22-23 clerk, it appears he has already moved and begun interviewing.

Judge CJ Williams for Northern District of Iowa extended at least one interview invite to a friend.

CCN '21, top quarter, secondary journal applicant who was applying broadly to "non-prestige" districts checking back in: I ended up getting two D.Ct. interviews, and the first one resulted in an offer, so that's the end of my cycle. I gotta say that the place I'm headed isn't in a part of the country where I ever imagined I would live, but I'm really coming around to the idea. If I love the experience, maybe I'll try for a COA or more brand-name district after a few years of experience, but for now, I'm just happy to have nabbed a position with a judge I think I'm really going to like!

FWIW, our clerkship office just said this morning that Judge Pratt (SD Iowa) said he "will not be hiring right away due to COVID/some internal chambers logistics" so I'm thinking it's very possible this is the case with many other judges.

I’m assuming this is from a student at Iowa or similar? Have you heard any news on Ebinger or Rose?

What are people's clerkship offices telling them? Our clerkship advisor is out for the week, so we're not really hearing anything, but is this slower than expected because of coronavirus, more applicants and more competition because of coronavirus, or are things normal and if you haven't heard from now you shouldn't expect to hear anything?
