What does "one long and one short writing sample" mean?
I'm applying to a judge who has requested "one long and one short" writing sample. What does that mean? I was thinking sending something that was ~10 pages and another sample that is ~30-35 pages, but I'm not sure if that's the right ballpark.

I would think it means a law review article and a more practical piece, like a short motion or memo.
