How many judges are following the plan with respect to graduates?
I understand that applications submitted by graduates through OSCAR are immediately viewable by judges.
But how many judges are putting off the entire review process until mid-June--until applications from this year's graduates are released?
For instance, Kovner (EDNY) disclosed just yesterday that she will wait until mid-June, even though she began accepting applications months ago. (IDK about Matsumoto, Chen, Komitee, Vitaliano; Oetken, Wood, Woods, Castel, Berman, e.g.)
Just curious. I suspect many judges don't bother updating OSCAR, even long after they've filled positions.

Re: How Many Judges Are Following the Plan? (w/r/t Graduates)
few, I have near perfect grades at HYS (just graduated), a good COA clerkship next year, and several strong recs. I applied to SDNY and EDNY for 2021. A few profs told me judges have called them, but no chambers have called me. Same profs told me the judges are likely waiting for June 15.
My take: Don't stress. Stay patient. Study for the bar and enjoy time with your family. You'll be fine.

My experience last cycle was that most on-Plan judges saved at least one spot for the 3L pool but otherwise solicited apps (and in some cases, granted interviews) for graduates before the 3L pool went live. No specific knowledge of the judges you listed

I suppose my question was pointless because practices vary from judge to judge.
My real concern was FOMO, receiving an exploding offer from a district far from home, accepting that offer, and then receiving invitations from SDNY/EDNY judges on June 15, because they all were waiting until then to take any action on any candidate.
(Yes, it's also true that I shouldn't have applied to any district where I wouldn't be happy to go on the spot.)
