2L looking to go into litigation at a T10. Was below-median 1L: about a 3.2. Just got my grades back from the fall and ended up with a 3.7, bringing me back up to about median overall (3.35). Received 2 A's in evidence and crim pro. Also moot court/secondary journal e-board
Am I at all competitive for a district clerkship in a secondary market? I know I'll have to explain my shitty 1L grades. I know I can't count on replicating this semesters results, but will the upward trend in grades count for anything if it continues?

Re: Do I have a chance?
Above median at T10 is within striking range, especially if you're willing to apply nationwide. There's a chance, but it's not the best.
If you really want to clerk, I would recommend applying widely this cycle and putting your nose to the ground to further improve your GPA and try again next cycle if you don't get any bites.
