SDNY MJ Interview

Post by Abb1993 » Tue Dec 17, 2019 8:22 am

Hi everyone,

Second year big law litigation associate here. I am interviewing with MJ Robert Lehrburger (former Patterson Belknap partner) and looking for insight about him, his interview process, his clerks' experience so far and anything else useful.

Any insight into MJ interviews in SDNY generally? What about any current or former MJ clerks that can speak to their experience?

Thanks so much in advance :)

I worked on a case where he was the MJ. I was very impressed by the R&R he issued, which was unusually thorough and well-researched. No idea what it's like to clerk for him, but I would guess that it is a lot of work to produce R&Rs like that.
