Accepting offer from 2L SA firm?

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Aug 01, 2016 12:48 pm

My understanding is that most judges have a policy on whether incoming clerks are allowed to accept offers at a law firm.

Since I don't know any of my Judge's current clerks, I'm wondering to whom should I reach out to find out what my Judge's policy is?

I assume I shouldn't be emailing or calling the Judge directly with this question...

If you've already accepted a clerkship you absolutely can ask the judge their policy on this. You can go through the judicial assistant.
