anyone clerk on Louisiana or Texas Supreme Courts?

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Jul 14, 2016 2:47 pm

I'm currently clerking for a federal district court somewhere within Texas or Louisiana. I'm going to work for a fantastic firm in a month and I could not be more thrilled. However, I sometimes envision myself clerking again, albeit at a different level. My credentials may disqualify me from federal courts of appeal, but I am uncertain as to the requisite qualifications necessary for the listed state supreme courts. At this stage, having already obtained the excellent experience of a district clerkship, I would only consider a break from private practice to clerk at either the federal appellate level or one of these state supreme courts. So, has anyone clerked for these courts? Good experience? Qualifications? Thanks
