Applying for a state SC that has this box at the end of their application. What kind of info/statement are they looking for?

That's pretty wide open. I could see your ties to the state or your desire to work in state appellate litigation, but I would assume you already have those in your cover letter.Anonymous User wrote:Applying for a state SC that has this box at the end of their application. Maybe if you have something in common with the Justice and are aware of it (e.g. craft beer/homebrew afficianado, etc.) But be confident that it's an interest of theirs before you mention it.

And I would personally feel ok repeating your ties/interests even if they are in the cover letter, as the existence of this box suggests they might not get to your cover letter if the information in the box doesn't catch their eye.BVest wrote:That's pretty wide open. I just ran with your point. I first I didn't know how to answer OP but when I read your take it seemed clear that is probably what they are asking with the box.BVest wrote:Fair point.
