Good thing or bad thing...

to be clerking for a judge that made Trump's SCOTUS list if I'm applying for other clerkships with that one on my resume already?

I thought it was a pretty solid list. Like, actual heavy-hitters, instead of border-sheriff types. Congrats on your clerkship.

I don't know about some of the SSC judges but the federal ones seem to be well-respected (and conservative, but presumably if you have a clerkship with one of them you already have FedSoc stuff on your resume). The fact that Trump threw out their names doesn't really alter that perception.

If you are clerking for one of the Trump Eleven, you should be thrilled. They are all great judges. Trump is a buffoon, but that doesn't take away from the resumes of these judges.

I know for one, Justice Willett is probably embarrassed that he was named, given: https://twitter.com/JusticeWillett/stat ... 1291916290

He has a way of doing that.

I wonder if he could still tweet if he was on SCOTUS.
