Post-Clerk Biglaw Bonuses

Post by tydurden » Tue Jan 19, 2016 4:19 pm

1. Does anyone know how soon a firm can offer a salary advance after a clerkship ends?

2. How do most biglaw firms pay out a clerkship bonus? Lump sum when you start? Paid in multiple paychecks?

I don't see why they couldn't give an advance immediately after the clerkship ended. I received my bonus as a lump sum which I think is the norm.
