Senior Note/Comment Ed vs. Regular Articles Ed -- Value for Clerkship

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Jan 15, 2016 1:03 am

Debating between two positions at my t25 LR, curious if there is difference for fed clerkship application purposes. One is senior note & comment editor, which is an exec board position. Other is non-senior articles editor, which is not an exec board position. Both have about the same amount of work (senior N&C is really light for an e board position).

I've heard that for clerkships, exec board is a plus and articles is a plus. Assuming it's an either/or, do I go exec board N&C or non-exec articles?

I would say the executive board position increases your likelihood of getting a federal clerkship by .0008%. Good luck.

This does not matter at all

I declined an ad board position (what you're calling exec board) to take articles so that I could devote 3L to the dozens of other things that would be better uses of my time
