Supreme Court of India
Through a networking contact who clerked for the Chief Justice a couple years ago, I have a connection to the Supreme Court of India, and he knows of a current Justice who is willing to take on a foreign law clerk. However, the Supreme Court of India is unable to pay their foreign law clerks. Are there any fellowship programs to fund unpaid judicial law clerkships? I've been Googling around for international law postgraduate fellowships, but I'm not finding anything thing. My school has its own fellowship program, but it is only for 6 months. I think I'd get more out of a clerkship if it were for at least one year. I could live cheaply in New Delhi with family. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
