Following up after interview
Last week, I had a second round interview with a judge. He said that he had narrowed it down to 2-3 candidates and hoped to make a decision by the end of the week because he was starting a trial this week. I didn't hear back from him. Should I assume that this means I didn't get the position? Should I call chambers to check in?

Re: Following up after interview
If he's in trial and he hasn't contacted you he either hasn't decided or isn't going to hire you. Either way, I wouldn't contact him during trial.

Re: Following up after interview
i agree, once the interview is over there's little point to calling. it sucks waiting but the die is cast and he/she's gonna take however long he/she needs.
