1st Circuit (2016)
Hi all! Anybody else have their eye on First Circuit judges for 2016-2017? OSCAR shows that Barron has already hired. Any information on others? Also, if anyone has specific info on the Providence judges, I'd love to hear it.

Re: 1st Circuit (2016)
I've applied for Barron, Lynch, Thompson, and Kayatta. The only bit of non-news to contribute is that Kayatta's chambers told me to update them when fall grades were out. I was wondering when someone would start a thread for the 1st Circuit! I've submitted lots of apps, but I'd prefer to be in New England.Anonymous User wrote:Hi all! Nice, best of luck! For Kayatta, how did you submit your letters of rec? And I assume for Thompson and Lynch you applied by mail?

Same to you! Yeah, I think those two were all paper mail and I had the letters for Kayatta sent by paper mail as well.Anonymous User wrote:Nice, best of luck! For Kayatta, how did you submit your letters of rec? And I assume for Thompson and Lynch you applied by mail?

Any movement in 1st Cir? Anyone looking to 2017 yet, or too early?

Barron has hired one for 2017, but it was an exceptional situation. I'm not sure if he's considering other apps for that cycle yet.
